It's Comics Show Time

So, for those of you in the UK this weekend, and able to get into Birmingham this Saturday and Sunday, it's the Birmingham International Comics Show. It's taking place over at the Think Tank at Millennium Point, and a good number of former Marvel UK people are going to be there (Liam Sharp, Mark Farmer, Charlie Adlard, Dez Skinn, and Lew Stringer to name a few) along with some notable names from the States (Including John Cassaday, Michael Golden and Olivier Coipel). Captain Britain & MI:13 writer Paul Cornell will also be there, and guys like Andy Diggle and list of industry guys attending just keeps on growing.

For more info got to http://www.thecomicsshow.co.uk/

There's also a thread over at the SFX Forum, being regularly updated by Shane, one of the organizers, with information: http://forum.sfx.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=15625&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

I'm going to be there both days, so expect some write up on the Blog next week. If you're going then you may spot me. I'll be the big shaven-headed guy who looks... well, kinda like the big shaven-headed guy in the panel on the right hand side of this page. Feel free to come over and say 'Hi'. I'm quite an approachable guy. ;D

Tickets for the show are £10 for a day pass, or £16 for both days. Tickets are available from the website above, or on the door.

Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Speak soon.
